About AACE

Student Exchange ProgramAmerican Academic and Cultural Exchange, Inc. is founded on the premise that positive personal experience helps dissolve divisive geographical, cultural and political barriers, leads to greater human understanding and world peace. AACE provides opportunities for high school students from many countries around the world to live with a host family in the United States while attending high school. Conversely, high school students from the United States live with host families and attend schools abroad. AACE believes that the enduring bonds that develop help bring the many diverse cultures of our world closer together into one global community.


AACE was founded with the expressed purpose of offering unique individualized and personal service to students, host families and host schools. AACE focuses on close and careful student and family selection. AACE emphasizes academic opportunities through public and private school placements. AACE places high priority on frequent and close communications with families, schools and students.


The entire staff of AACE, beginning with the personally involved officers and directors are committed to insuring that each student, family and school involved with the exchange process has the optimal opportunity for a pleasant, educational and rewarding experience. Students are placed only in localities and states where professionally trained and experienced adult AACE representatives are available.

We Have Many Programs to Choose From

Summer Program in the U.S.

Foreign students, age 15 to 18, live with a host family during a four-week visit to Virginia in July. Teacher recommendations are required. Orientation sessions and supervision are provided. Cultural experiences and language enhancement are provided while in the U.S.
